I'm currently employed at UCT to write up scientific papers for publication. My area of research involves understanding historic and current southern elephant seal population fluctuations by linking foraging with mesoscale oceanographic features in the region of Marion Island using generalised additive and mixed effects models.

During this period I completed my BSc in marine biology and oceanography. I was awarded my degree with distinctions in both specialties. Thereafter I completed my honors degree in oceanography, also with distinction. In 2014 I completed my MSc degree in conservation biology.
