I was the first ever Ad Operations Manager for IPC Inspire (IPC's country and leisure interests division). I held this position from Sep 2005 to Jan 2009. I tested and approved ADTECH to be IPC Inspire's ad-serving platform. (ADTECH was subsequently rolled out to the other divisions within IPC). I then led the ad-tagging of 49 IPC Media websites. On a daily basis I trafficked and optimised TrustedReviews.com, one of IPC's leading websites.I helped design a classification of inventory layers within ADTECH to help with sell-through reportingI led a team of two traffic executives.

I provided technical support for two online editorial teams - 3 days with the CountryLife.co.uk / HorseandHound.co.uk team based near Waterloo, and two days with the Decanter.com team at their Fulham officeIn Feb 2004 I joined the newly-created website development team.While Technical Co-ordinator I had project management responsibilities - I captured requirements for website builds; performed Quality Assuarance on new websites, and tracked bugs and incremental development after website launches. I set priorities for our external suppliers, ensuring costs never exceeded monthly budgets. My Production and Technical duties included: creating bespoke HTML / Javascript / CSS web pages; creating basic ASP, PHP and Perl applications; managing weekly online data-entry of advertisements to the Country Life Property database, and uploading the associated property images.
