I formed Catalyst Design Group llc. to bring on additional designers in response surging production design needs. Presently I continue working under the llc., partnering with other freelance designers as needed to provide graphic design services for businesses and organizations both remotely and in the local community. Current and former clients include Torque Creative (Techtronic Industries North America), Oregon State University, Portage Health Foundation, MTEC Smartzone, and most recently Michigan Technological University.

Upon relocation I transitioned from a full-time in-house Art Director for Ryobi power tools, to that of a contract designer with Torque Creative/TTi. I continued to work on the Ryobi brand, and also have had the opportunity to expand my involvement with many of the other in-house brands including Ridgid Power Tools, Hoover Floorcare Products, Craftsman Power Tools, Milwaukee Power Tools and others.

Art Director for Ryobi power tool and accessories division, a subsidiary of Techtronic Industries, Inc (TTi). Responsibilities included maintaining the brand integrity and graphic standards, working with the creative director on the development of integrated marketing and branding promotions, advertising, and point of sale materials to communicate the brand’s strategic objectives to the consumer. Direct and supervise three graphic designers. Collaborate daily with sales, marketing, product managers and printers. Involved in the determining the brands objectives and creative strategy. Attend photo shoots and press checks to ensure consistency and quality.
