• Developing and planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining all aspects of health/safety and environmental programs.• Responsible for compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and for implementing company’s efforts in following areas of SafetyManagement Systems, Safety Audits/Inspections, and Safety Training.• Monitor, revise, and implement ongoing updates in safety regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.• Provide field observations and decisions regarding opportunities to improve performance and lower insurance costs.• Coordinate implementation of controls from result of hazard analysis.• Measure and evaluate effectiveness of hazard control system, policies and procedures.• Implement record keeping requirements (e.g., Accident investigation reports and OSHA 300 log.• Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices.• Provide immediate input, advice and direction to mitigate potentially hazardous conditions and assure compliance with OSHA.• Plan, develop, and implement safety training for new employee orientation and required annual programs including auditing processes andstandards.• Maintain accurate records of employee’s safety training.• Monitor progress of injured employees as they perform modified duty,• Management and utilization of safety department staff.
