Founder and Program Manager of the IEM Project Management Office (PMO), supporting the standardization and continuous improvement of IEM Project Management tools and processes across four primary lines of business.

• Program Manager of the Knolls Integrated Schedule. Responsibilities included managing shared resources across eight functional areas of the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) and driving strategic initiatives to completion through the management of key deliverables.• Implemented streamlined processes for the management of capital asset acquisition projects by leading a four-site team and delivering a 200-page revision of the Project Execution Guide ahead of schedule.• Ensured sufficient resources were in place to support the site’s 10-year portfolio of construction projects by performing in-depth portfolio resource analyses on a semiannual basis and presenting recommendations to leadership.• Developed annual spend plans to aggressively meet financial goals, tracking project spending and measuring performance to baselines to support proper budget allocation.• Developed project plans, created schedules, managed resources, prepared funding letters, and conducted risk management activities as the lead Project Analyst for 15 DOE construction projects totaling more than $235 million.• Revised standard templates by implementing new requirements and incorporating historical data to build stronger project plans and improve validity of metrics. Used a phased approach to implement new requirements and provided training to the end user.• Led the effort to address a critical program need by identifying the potential for a lapse in service on the uncleared security escort contract. Analyzed and identified gaps in data collection and presented a recovery plan to senior management while working across three NNL sites to implement corrective actions.

• Revised power plant and reactor plant manuals, conducted quality reviews, and delivered error-free change packages to active U.S. Navy submarines and aircraft carriers.• Project Manager of the technical revision process for four different fleet manuals, teaming with Fleet Power Plant engineers and managing project scope and schedule to drive mission-critical manual revisions to on-time completions.• Employed proper risk management strategies, implemented process improvement measures, and prioritized competing demands to meet Naval Reactors’ deadlines.

• Manager of Sports Department operations and lead sports anchor for the Nielsen top-rated news station in a four-station market.• Established project management discipline for department operations through project planning, resource management, proper budget allocation, and tracking performance to plan through the measurement of key metrics.• Produced, wrote, and anchored two live shows daily. • Reported live from the field and held play-by-play announcing duties for North Dakota high school state tournaments.• Reviewed and analyzed real-time consumer data for ways to increase viewership.• Developed task, work assignment, and travel schedules for two direct reports.
