About Philip O'Connor, P.Eng

Dynamic, goal oriented and highly motivated. My experience working at GD and the CNSC has provided me with a strong working knowledge to develop, schedule and coordinate large and small scale projects. I have developed some key skills in the area of electrical design and test, coding, technical writing, project coordination and management. At home, I often apply my hands on knowledge on various DIY projects to make custom and unique electronic and mechanical systems. In my spare time, armed with my 3d printer and homemade 3-axis CNC machine I have used my abilities to design and build hydrofoil wings, a custom self balancing single wheeled electric skateboard and have completed various other projects. Design and engineering is my passion.
