Responsible for underwriting and structuring straightforward and complex credit transactions, portfolio monitoring and maintenance, and playing an active role in the documentation and loan closing process.Additional Duties:Underwriting commercial credit transactions and exposures to support other bank products (e.g. Treasury Limits, F/X, etc.)Participate in client calls as part of the due diligence/facilitation of the credit underwriting process and ongoing administration.Ensure adherence to credit policies, guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements. Understand and apply the bank’s risk framework when making recommendations & decisions.Perform pricing (RAROC, Basel) analysis. Ensure asset quality in conjunction with risk/return.Produce Credit Approval documents (Credit Approval Memorandums and Modifications, Exposure Reviews) as well as Deal Screen Memos and Term Sheets. Actively participate in crafting and delivering credit solutions for clients and prospects.Advise on client selection and balance risk and reward while strategically planning for the portfolio in order to minimize risk to the bank.

Responsible for timely and accurate risk recognition by monitoring client's operating performance and financial condition to proactively identify issues and opportunities. Independently prepare Financial Analysis Summaries (FAS), and perform analysis resulting in actionable recommendations.Prepare technically accurate projections and repayment analysis on routine credit actions and at the direction of the credit team make recommendations that mitigate risks or remedy exceptions.Additional duties include: the regular use of discretion and independent judgment, particularly in matters of significance; assisting the credit team with the evaluation and renewal or modification of credit facilities to exceed client expectations; displaying foundational knowledge of loan documentation, specifically Loan Agreements; demonstrating and understanding credit policies, guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
