Responsibility for recruitment, retention, support & training of vols:• Develop and implement regional vols recruitment strategy to ensure an extensive pool of diverse & engaged vols, meet targets to the operational and wider needs of FS Cymru• Recruit & maintain relationships with a wide range of vol sources, ensuring long term partnershipsVol engagement and comms strategies• Develop & deliver an engagement programme that ensures all vols gain a sense of teamwork and belonging• Promote volunteering, internally and externally• Develop and deliver a vol induction programme & maximise engagement /contribution of each volunteer• Develop and deliver vol training, ensuring all vols complete training, able to meet potential & complete their roles effectively• Work to reduce any barriers to volunteering• Celebrate volunteering, recognise the achievements of our vols• Ensure clear communication with vols3. Policies, procedures and admin• Develop new volunteering policies and procedures.• Maintain vol records, ensure monitoring & evaluation is completed, maintain databases & records, ensure that vol hours are recorded• Ensure forms are completed, that checks & references are obtained• Keep up to date with legislation, policy and best practice and apply• Provide references for vols & ensure that references are completed by best member of the team• Ensure that vol expenses are claimed, recorded & paid to policy4. Make FareShare a destination for volunteering• Enhance the experience of volunteering at FS Cymru by delivering robust policies, effective engagement and communication, so vols enjoy what they do, feel proud & become ambassadors• Evaluate the vol experience & establish benchmarks, including vol satisfaction, conversion, retention, trainingMarketing & Comms• Monitor & maintain social media & web• Support development of regular e-newsletter• Represent FS Cymru as required• Writing Case studies• Supporting development of promotional materials
