• Effectively managed in excess of 70 production, engineering and technical operatives / specialist staff in a complex, multistage, mixed batch process adhering to rigid operating procedures, improving on exemplary quality and safety standards whilst achieving 95% on time delivery to Timet customers. • Planned, managed and successfully executed development of the company NDT quality system in order to attain Customer, Industry and National accreditation’s such as ISO 9000 / 2000 and ‘NADCAP’ which has recently been mandated by American and European aerospace agencies. • Successfully managed the design, purchase and commissioning of capital equipment within a budget of £0.4M, providing automated computer controlled ultrasonic inspection of critical parts for the aerospace industry. The project was completed six months early and £170k under budget. The end results have been a 300% increase in productivity from the inspection area. Major engine builders within the aerospace industry have since adopted some of the projects technical developments.
