Windlift develops Airborne Wind Energy (AWE) systems that use tethered drones to capture wind energy at 200-400 feet. The drone (pictured above) flies much like a kite, and electric power is generated with 4 onboard motors. This electricity is transmitted down the conductive tether to the ground, for further use.On a power output comparison, AWE uses 10% of the material that horizontal axis wind turbines use. This drastically reduces the cost of energy as this technology scales. Airborne Wind Energy has the potential to quickly be the cheapest wind energy.

Responsible for the development and implantation of the Lean Six Sigma program that will serve all units and organizations in the pacific region, including Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, Korea, Guam, and America Samoa. In addition for providing training programs for all levels of LSS, serves as the curator and mentor for all projects with-in the region.Key Contributions: - Provided training and mentorship to over 200 personnel from senior leaders to mid-level managers. In addition, served as the quality assurance and quality control inspector of all equipment that would enter an area of operation. In charge of creating and implementing a Six Sigma strategy for FORSCOM Command and subordinate units. The overall goal is to maximize output while minimizing cost. Work with all levels of leadership to determine specific goals in line with organizational lines of effort and mission statement while leading the team toward reaching them. In addition, mentors other certified belts and candidates to reach their project goals.Key Contributions:- Mentored Lean Six Sigma Black Belt projects that resulted in increase Sigma Quality Level (SQL) (1.8 SQL to 5.4 SQL) and Process Lead Time (PLT) (2 months to 3 weeks) of contracts in support of aviation operations.- Led budget analyst and financial dispersement team to optimize budget and procurement approval process.
