I also work part-time as Chief Financial Officer at The Island Learning Trust - an all-primary school Trust in Kent.I am proud to be a Qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and Accounting Technician. I have also joined the ICAEW as well.I thrive on developing high quality client relationships, giving the care and attention clients want and need. I love sharing my academy knowledge and experience in such a new and developing sector. In addition, following the FRC ethical rule changes regarding audit firms offering both external and internal audit services (no longer allowed), I was instrumental in increasing Kreston Reeves' number of internal audit clients and service offering. This involved pitching for new work, establishing relationships with other local firms to "swap" clients and developing the firm's service offer structure - templates for reports, pricing, sampling and work programmes. I also advised many clients on their risk appetite structures and presented findings at trust meetings. -
