I am a RIBA registered Architect and Director within Simons Design, I am responsible for managing the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare activity within the design buisness. Managing a team of technical staff in the design business, I am responsible for the preparation and overseeing of projects from feasibility stage, through the scheme and detail design phases and supporting the implementation of projects on site to handover.With excellent client liason skills and nearly 20 years experience of woking within the pharmaceutical industry with major clients such as Glaxosmithkline, Astra Zeneca and a number of generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, I am regarded as a trusted advisor who offers valuable professional advice providing real benefit to projects that I am involved with.I have expertise in both refurbishment and new build projects and have worked on a range of Respiratory and Oral Solid Dose Manufacturing Facilities as well as Research and Development Facilities that have ranged from high profile, multi million pound projects to minor refurbishment projects, often working to challenging time frames, strict financial constraints and within sensitive operational pharmaceutcal environments where quality is a given.Prior to specialising in Pharmaceuticals, I worked on worked within the retail development and retail fitout sector for many national high street retailers and major food operators on various new store and store refurbishment programs.
