Responsible for most aspects of Hendon FC's online presence including but not limited to:- Design, build, support and maintenance of the main football club website. using Java 8 with Spring and Hibernate and hosting with AWS. Currently using a traditional Spring WebMVC architecture with MySQL, but working at present on updating this to a Microservice based architecture.- Website is built with a custom database schema and CMS built from the ground up. - Design, development and support of complex IVR solutions for high profile customers in a PCI-DSS environment, primarily using Java and Spring with vendor specific tools. Responsibilities included requirements gathering, Voice UI design, database and webservice integration design, Voice application, voice grammar and middleware build and unit testing with the Mockito/Powermock frameworks. Also responsible for migration into operational support, plus third line in-life support.- Design, development and delivery into operational support of custom technical solutions with full Genesys CTI Framework integration utilizing Genesys Platform SDK and Java. Includes development of ETL and OFCOM Outbound Dialing compliance solutions.- Design and build of a custom property driven IVR development framework for Cisco Voice Platform to allow for quick and error free development of IVR applcations in CVP Studio.- Design and implementation of a Continuous Integration, build and Static Code Analysis stack for legacy and new Java application builds utilizing Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Subversion and Artifactory.- Work on the above projects both in a lead role and as a team member with others taking lead on the project. Includes regular communication with non-technical customers and the need to explain complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.- Support and mentoring for colleagues in learning Java from scratch, including one-to-one coding sessions, design and review of custom learning exercises and supplementing 3rd party learning tools with additional domain specific explanations.- Required to work incorporating as many agile principles from Scrum/Kanban methodologies within the team whilst working in a wider waterfall context. Instrumental in a recent migration to JIRA.- Design, build and implementation of a customisable OpenSocial gadget to retrieve data from webservices and display in a graph using Bootstrap, custom JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
