Flat is a lightweight project management tool for teams that crave uncluttered visibility and simplicity in their work.

I joined this project to meet an emergency need for COVID-19 safety training during the height of the pandemic in NYC. Designed and delivered an interactive SMS training engine within three weeks using AWS serverless technologies. Our work proved to be extensible enough to support the launch of Opus's commercial product for working training.

Led development of Managed by Q’s Workplace Management Platform from inception. The offering helped office managers find good office vendors, negotiate scope/price, and pay for service. It included systems for search/browse, ordering, fulfillment, messaging, billing, and workplace collaboration. WeWork acquired Managed by Q in 2019. Our team grew to over 30 developers.Integrated Hivy, an acquired product, into the our offering. The integration required unifying authentication systems and user databases.

Led engineering, a team of 20+ with broad technical responsibilities that spanned streaming infrastructure and a popular mobile app. Drove 10x reduction in downtime by improving architecture, observability, and incident response. GameChanger was acquired by Dick's Sporting Goods in 2016.

Built the frontend for the first version of Sulia, a subject-based social network — a thing like twitter where you follow topics instead of people.

Lead engineer for Symantec Data Loss Prevention, before and after the Vontu acquisition. Focused on the systems for management and reporting.
