Handled enterprise support cases working with system administrators at Fortune 500 companies to quickly resolve complex, high-impact production issues. Developed support automation tools for the maintenance of global print, fax, and email systems for large enterprises. Developed a web-based Perl/CGI app, Snapshot, that allowed support engineers and customers to view a visual topology of customer deployments, which often spanned dozens of servers and countries, and quickly identify network and software issues. Prior to this, support engineers would spend days on the phone for each case, guiding sys admins from one server to the next, one log to the next, on the command line. Snapshot took many of these calls down to a few minutes or eliminated them altogether because the customer used the tool to resolve their own issue.
