SUMMARYI taught two courses during my time living in this region: Theological Anthropology and Treatises on Grace. My community sent me to serve in the U.S.A. before I was able to complete the latter class, which led me to hand it over to another professor. These classes were formulated in dialogue with Bishop Kay Martin Schmalhausen Panizo with the purpose of making the content pastorally applicable. CONTENT• Creation: The Scriptural account, ancient and modern conceptions, and the dialogue with modern science.• The human person as a being created in God's Image and Likeness. Personhood: Characterized as a being oriented towards God and capable of His divine life; a free, social, and creative being. The dimensions of the human person: body, mind and spirit.• The mysteries of original sin, evil, and suffering. Conscience.• Recapitulation, filial adoption, and divinization in Jesus Christ through the Church.• The Holy Spirit in salvation history. The gifts of the Holy Spirit and infused virtues. The nature of grace and its action on the person. Development on the doctrine of grace in Church history. Heresies concerning grace. The relationship between grace and human nature, especially concerning free will.SAMPLE TEXTS• Aquinas, Thomas, Summa Theologiae.• Augustine, Treatises on Grace.• Catechism of the Catholic Church.• Flick, M.-Alszeghy, Z., Antropología teológica, Ed.
