Performs daily routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment in mixing, bakeshop, packaging and distribution. Familiar with the mixing process and equipment, baking process and ovens, packaging equipment and palletizers in distribution for the production lines. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment such as Ishida scales, Rovema baggers, Klockner carton formers/bag in the box loaders, Thiele carton formers/ bag in the box loaders, Post side seamers, better known as folder/gluers, Nordson hot melt glue systems, check weighers, Bosch tray formers, tray closers, Arpac shrink wrappers, labelers, ink jet code daters, grinders for crumbs, Lantech stretch wrapper’s and overhead conveyors. Familiar with safe line metal detectors at CCP’s that are responsible for delivering a safe and quality product to the customer. Line coverage and unscheduled maintenance repairs/ corrective maintenance repairs on assigned packaging lines. Inspects assigned packaging lines weekly and notifies area planner for the parts needed for planned corrective maintenance. Fulfills duties as training committeeman for 2nd shift machinists/mechanics.

Performed maintenance and repair of packaging, distribution, printing and binding equipment. Worked on Heidelberg printing presses, Harris and Mueller Martini saddle stitchers and perfect binders, flatbed cutters, Stahl folders, shrink wrappers, stretch wrappers, paper drills and other support equipment.Performed preventive and corrective / repair maintenance on air compressors and vacuum pumps for various printing companies, Point of Purchase(POP) printing, screen printing, magazine and catalog printing and book binding companies in the Atlanta Metropolitan and surrounding areas.
