About Phil Steele
A truly international talent, award-winning songwriter, film composer, actor and author, Phil Steele has lived and worked in London, Paris, New York and Tokyo. Since the mid-90s, he's added Hollywood and Berlin to the list while garnering a Grammy nomination for Kill Bill Vol. 2. As a writer-producer for Warner Bros in Paris during the 80s, his classic balearic anthem “City Lights” earned multiple gold awards and sold millions. From the 90s onwards, Phil has written and performed songs and voice acted for major Hollywood studios and TV networks, working alongside filmmakers Quentin Tarantino, Ken Russell, Bruce Willis, Richard Dreyfuss, Georges Lautner and others on both sides of the Atlantic. As an author, Phil's moving novel "City of Light" recounts the last Paris days of rock legend Jim Morrison, and is now being made into a motion picture.
