As Worldwide Tech Leader for the Retail / Ecom division at AWS, responsibilities include 1) developing the AWS Retail (technical) vision, strategic plan, product roadmap, and driving innovative solutions for AWS Retail / Ecom customers, 2) partner with retail / ecom industry CxO’s and senior engineering teams to innovate and solve enterprise problems 3) provide industry thought leadership and AWS technology direction for an ecosystem of 3rd party software vendors, system integrators and professional services teams 4) drive innovative retail / ecom solutions and architecture with a global group of solution architects, technical account managers, and product/service engineering development teams. Solutions involve the full stack of AWS products/services such as Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, IOT, AR/VR, Blockchain, in addition to all of the highly scalable cloud infrastructure services. AWS customers include Amazon.com, Amazon Go, and Amazon Fresh as well as thousands of retail / ecommerce companies in over 150 countries.

Led multi-year global wearables vision, strategic plan, product roadmap, manufacturing, partnerships, engineering, operations, R&D, innovation, and software development necessary to transform Fossil Group’s traditional global fashion accessory business into a fashion technology platform business. Fossil Group brands that launched new wearables include: Armani Exchange, Chaps, Diesel, DKNY, Emporio Armani, Fossil, Kate Spade, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, MICHELE, Misfit, Relic, Skagen, and Tory Burch. Incubated and led a new internal corporate venture capital group “Fossil Ventures” responsible for the acquisition of Misfit Wearables out of Silicon Valley.

According to the publication "Internet Retailer", Fossil was a top 5 fastest growing ecommerce business during this same time period. This effort included global ecommerce expansion in 3 regions (North America, APAC, and EMEA) and in over 25 countries (including China) while providing global leadership of 100's of resources across the globe in areas such as engineering, development, operations, finance, digital marketing, and others.
