Amongst my many duties, I am primarily responsible for the day to day operations at Purple – driving the business forward to achieve our business objectives.The inevitable tasks of business planning and development, managing budgets and accounts cannot be avoided but I love it.My experience, within the Information Technology and Digital sectors, has helped me to direct and grow the business by applying professional practises to the way we work. Having worked extensively in direct sales and marketing I often still find myself in the front-line dealing with new business enquiries and nurturing new opportunities.As the Captain of our own little Starship I have a responsibility to ensure my crew remains happy, focused and can deliver service at the highest possible level. This matters a lot to me and taking pride in our work has become the default approach adopted by anyone who works here at Purple.Operating a flat-management structure empowers staff to be both individual and experts in their respective roles. The result is a team that works exceptionally well together, has fun in the process and enjoys the challenge of working on new and varied projects.

I have been involved with Zetland Estates since 2001 when I was brought in to assist with the general promotion and marketing of the various office spaces at the prestigious Aske Stables.Over the years the success and take-up of commercial office space at the Stables justified further expansion with the re-development of other Estate buildings.Aske, and nearby Olliver, is now home to circa 40 businesses of all shapes and sizes.My role here continues with managing any vacant space and providing a relationship role between the Estate and the various businesses.With my background in Information Technology, I was able to design and develop the IT infrastructure that delivers a high-speed internet service throughout the Estate including Fibre and CAT5 cabled methods as well as WiFi solutions.
