After graduating from Duntroon and the Uni of NSW (both just!) I had a few years learning the ropes as an Artillery Officer. Learnt a lot about leadership and process - both essential in this trade! Had a fantastic few years at the Defence Academy and School of Artillery, where I was an instructor. Major projects were decision assistance technology implementation, Army corporate planning system, Re-engineering of the Land Headquarters processes and structure and also the recruit training process. Prior to "retiring" from the Army I was responsible for the Corporate Planning and Management function in Army's Training Command. Show less
