Currently a business development manager in the Burns & McDonnell Water Group, I bring more than 30 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure, public administration and utility management. I am passionate about educating local municipality managers, employees and elected officials on technical, managerial, financial, and regulatory issues related to utility operation. Before joining Burns & McDonnell, I served in the capacity of an environmental services division manager, where I delivered technical assistance to over 120 municipal water and wastewater utilities. My responsibilities included monitoring, coordinating, and negotiating regulatory and enforcement actions between cities and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. I advocated for municipal utility members at the state and federal levels. While in this position, I compiled the largest biennial water and wastewater rate survey in U.S. history.Working at Burns & McDonnell, a 100 percent employee-owned company, we are all personally invested in the success of our clients because their success drives our own. We are a full-service engineering, architecture, construction, environmental and consulting solutions firm, with a staff of over 6,000 engineers, architects, construction professionals, planners, estimators, economists, technicians and scientists, representing virtually all design disciplines.
