I am a ILM certified coach and have also received Leadership Coaching from Growth Coach International. My recent assignments include working with a senior strategic manager at a national blue chip company. In six months he has generated an additional £10 million for his company. I also coached a Head teacher at a multi-academy trust, helping him determine the future direction of his career. I currently support a range of corporate and private clients whose aim is to enhance their careers or personal lives.

I worked with a number of professional and semi-professional football clubs, advising them in regard to the quality of education that their scholars are receiving, and the safety of the environment in which they are working. This work involves me in supporting and advising individuals in their workplace as well as consulting with parents in regard to their perception of the quality of teaching and of safeguarding at the club.

I worked with a number of colleagues to help them resolve challenges and develop their roles. It was a very successful and rewarding enterprise. Whilst visiting the Academy I also supported colleagues in the Physical Education Department, helping them to develop the quality of teaching and learning during lessons, and reviewed and helped to rationalise their curriculum model.

I worked in the Science Department whilst setting up my new enterprise. Initially a full-time post, I eventually taught part-time as my coaching work developed and became my main focus.Whilst working in the department I taught Key Stages 3 and 4 Science to a range of classes.

As Director of Leadership, Training and Staff Development, I led and managed training programmes for the whole workforce, managing colleagues new to the profession through to those at the end of their career. Aligned to this was my responsibility for Performance Management and Appraisal throughout the school, and the maintenance of Professional Standards.I led on Leadership Partner School Status, with special emphasis on developing leadership throughout the student and staff body, and enjoyed a secondment at another institution where I was responsible for staff development and the improvement of Learning and Teaching throughout the school.

During this secondment I was responsible for developing Learning and Teaching across the school and Staff Leadership. This involved me introducing and running training sessions on a new Assessment-for Learning-based Learning and Teaching policy. I also helped develop leadership skills across the teaching staff. Several colleagues from that period have gone on to enhanced roles within and outside the college.
