My early career was in the Environmental Sector working for a consulting firm first in Office Management before growing into a position as a Senior Field Technician responsible for maintenance, operation and securing of several HAZMAT sites and environmental remediation systems. During this time, I installed and maintained Soil Vapor Extraction Systems. This involved basic repair on electrical panels, installing PVC piping lines, building PVC manifolds for pressurized systems. The operation of these systems involved gauging airflow and contamination levels with flow meters and Photo-ionization Detectors (PID). I was also responsible for performing hydro-geological research events. I maintained detailed field logs and joined on engineering teams planning these events.
