Design improvements to welding fixtures and design new fixtures. Work closely with operators on the floor and management through the continuous improvement program to increase productivity and reduce errors. Work with supply management representatives to increase flow of parts in and out of work centers and reduce excess parts. Sabre Industries (January 2015- March 2015): Created CAD models and drawings for existing stands and fixtures used on the manufacturing floor with a new standard part number system and drawing format. Designed several new fixtures for use with larger towers. FEA was run on all designs and suggestions were made if current designs didn't have an acceptable factor of safety. Quality Tool Service (September 2014- January 2015):Tooling design for customer company working off site. Designed weld fixtures to accommodate large weldments (over 10 feet) with both manual and automated clamping to be used in both manual and robotic welding environments. Created complete set of prints for fixtures to be manufactured. The main point of contact between the design team and the customer. Delegate tasks to the other members of the design team making sure the work is shared evenly and the team is most efficient with our time. Bring questions the team comes up with back to the customer and coordinate and help lead meetings between the customer and the design team as needed. CNH- Fargo tractor plant (April 2014- September 2014):Current Production management on Row Crop and High Horsepower model agricultural 4WD tractors on site at the Fargo, ND Case New Holland plant. Created ECR/ECOs for changes. Updated prints to comply with current company standards working with drawing checkers located off site.
