Site capital budget manager - Responsible for compiling and submitting quarterly forecasts, yearly 5 year simulations with inputs from key site leaders and yearly capital AOP (annual operating plan). Manage Planning & Logistics activities including standing up new warehouse and shipping strategies for brand new products as part of accelera by Cummins launch of electrolyzer assembly in Fridley, MN.

Responsible for daily production line support providing safety, productivity and process improvements for up to 4 product lines. Identified, solved and implemented improvements to both risk and ergonomic risks to meet quarterly safety targets. Balanced work content on production line as multiple new products were introduced and volumes increased. Created and maintained process documentation as improvements were made. Took on a material presentation and material flow functional excellence role within the manufacturing engineering group. Helped to development and implement new material delivery strategy at the Fridley plant from a replenishment strategy where all material was held on the production line to a kit based system sequenced to job order. Worked with international supplier on site in China to help with and evaluate quality and process improvements as they brought new production lines online to meet our required delivery schedule.

John Deere- Valley City (March 2015- Present):On site weld manufacturing engineer position. Responsible for providing engineering support for two tillage weld production lines. Design improvements to welding fixtures and design new fixtures. Work closely with operators on the floor and management through the continuous improvement program to increase productivity and reduce errors. Work with supply management representatives to increase flow of parts in and out of work centers and reduce excess parts. Sabre Industries (January 2015- March 2015): Created CAD models and drawings for existing stands and fixtures used on the manufacturing floor with a new standard part number system and drawing format. Designed several new fixtures for use with larger towers. FEA was run on all designs and suggestions were made if current designs didn't have an acceptable factor of safety. Quality Tool Service (September 2014- January 2015):Tooling design for customer company working off site. Designed weld fixtures to accommodate large weldments (over 10 feet) with both manual and automated clamping to be used in both manual and robotic welding environments. Created complete set of prints for fixtures to be manufactured. The main point of contact between the design team and the customer. Delegate tasks to the other members of the design team making sure the work is shared evenly and the team is most efficient with our time. Bring questions the team comes up with back to the customer and coordinate and help lead meetings between the customer and the design team as needed. CNH- Fargo tractor plant (April 2014- September 2014):Current Production management on Row Crop and High Horsepower model agricultural 4WD tractors on site at the Fargo, ND Case New Holland plant. Created ECR/ECOs for changes. Updated prints to comply with current company standards working with drawing checkers located off site.

Provided engineering design services to client companies on site.Acquired by Applied Engineering April 2014

Tasked with creating and updating ProEngineer models and drawings of 64 different sprayer boom configurations and optional accessories including spray bars, hydraulic, plumbing, and electrical routings.Created multilevel assembly files to match existing bills of materials that could be used on the assembly line to assemble completed booms. Worked with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and quality representatives to get approvals on changes before releases employing Teamcenter and Engineering Central software.

Working on a team of 9 engineering students to redesign the rear drive train of the Baja car, implementing independent rear suspension with a manual transmission and differential. As transmission sub team leader, responsible for group of student engineers implementing new transmission into an existing frame.Responsible for coordinating with other sub team leaders and the project leader to keep the project on schedule and helping student engineers to perform to the best.

Helped coordinate a team of 10 student engineers working on design improvements for the Baja car. Also delegated different tasks to team members based on their strengths at the competition. Personally responsible for compiling the design and cost reports from team members’ written subsections. Handled communications between race coordinators and the team. Managed required documentation for the team to successfully pass technical inspection.

Distribute packages and mail to students, and answer questions from faculty and students. Manage a team of student workers on Saturdays making sure time is managed well and problems are addressed in a timely manner. Responsible coordinating scheduling of 20 student works.
