Subsea Engineer on West Carina 6th generation DP3 Drillship. Involved in all aspects of installation and commissioning of all subsea and drilling equipment. Equipment including Shaffer 18-3/4”-15K 7 Ram BOP, Shaffer 500 psi Divertor, NOV 15K C&K manifold, NOV Shaffer FT-H Riser system, NOV BOP / Riser handling system and NOV BOP Mux control system. Working within the Operations Prep.Team in Dubai Office. Duties including building off Maintenance Trees for new and existing rigs. Reviewing and ordering of Spare gear for Newbuild Drillships. Answering queries from Shipyard and various vendors.

Carrying out and assisting with the day to day running of Subsea Dept. onboard a 5th Generation Drillship. Maintaining and repair of Hydril Compact 15M BOP and Shaffer Annulars.Maintenance and repair of ABB. BOP Mux Control System.Maintenance and repair of various Subsea Equipment including Vetco HMF Riser, Vetco Slipjoint, Vetco Tension Ring, Hydril FS 21 Divertor, Choke Manifold – 15K WOM., Bridge Crane 180 T, Mux and Hotline reels, Various Hydraulic skidding systems.Conduct pressure testing when required of BOP, Choke Manifold, Cement Manifold and drilling surface safety equipment.Work with a full Planned Maintenance system including ordering various parts and equipment for day to day running, planned EOW. 2nd Engineer Watchkeeper in charge of watch on DP.Class 3 operations using Kongsburg,Simrad SVC system.Machinery includes six MAN B+W diesel engines,five Ulstein azimuth thrusters.Auxillary machinery includes Shinko pumps,Atlas copco compressors and Alfa Laval fresh water generators.Planned maintenance is carried out on all the machinery including an inert gas generation plant.

Senior Watchkeeper and 2rd Engineer on Semi-Submersible accomodation vessel..Responsible for the upkeep of vessels main and auxillary plants.

3rd Engineer. Work as part of a team under the chief engineer, maintaining the ships machinery and looking after staff.Senior Engineer Watchkeeper on a number of container vessels, main propulsion units including Sulzer, M.A.N., and Stal steam plants.
