Previously a member of Finance Audit & Investment Committee (FAIC) from 2009 - 2011.Designed and implemented a CEO performance management system based upon a balanced scorecard approach. I conducted an Executive level (CEO & Directors) remuneration review in 2012 & 2018 leading to structural changes that better represent the professionalism of TAI as an organisation. Additionally, I have overseen our Board External Reviews in 2013 & 2017, with recommendations including reducing the size of the board, revising committee terms of reference, coordinating individual board member assessments and personal development plans.I am particularly proud to have led and overseen a substantial increase in the diversity of the Board. As of 2019, we have 50/50 gender split, combined with growing ethnic diversity in the boardroom.I bring to the Board my Finance, HR & Governance expertise and the ability to 'ask hard questions'​ and probe the executive/management team extensively as a part of due diligence on major decisions. I have been active in the development of new policies and continue to serve in this regard by leading the Nominations & Governance Committee.

Leading a highly skilled and capable team, the International Programmes Director plays a pivotal and crucial role in leading and delivering Tearfund's overseas projects and programmes. I engage in local and global alliances, particularly around disaster response, learning & development. I sit on MFAT's NGO Reference Group - one of five INGOs advising MFAT on structure and process concerning its new models of partnership for development.As part of the Tearfund Executive Team, I take an active role in people & culture engagement. While the CEO was on sabbatical, I took the role of acting CEO from July-September 2018.In 2019 I led the organisation in the development of our new five-year Strategic Framework. I am overseeing the development of a Pacific Strategy for the organisation's coming pivot to that region, and a comprehensive Programmes Strategy to guide our work in line with the new Strategic Framework.

Appointed inaugural CEO of TI Australia (TIA). Charged with taking the organisation from a pure volunteer arrangement to professionally staffed. Grew TIA to six full-time professional staff within 12 months. Commenced implementation of multi-million dollar / multi-country mining development programme, funded by the mining sector and DFAT. Strengthened TIA's relationship and partnership with the TI Secretariat.Grew TIA's corporate membership base significantly in a short period to build a stronger future funding base. Sat on the OGP AU Multi-Stakeholder Forum and was instrumental in shifting the culture and engagement between government and civil society to an increasing partnership mentality. Built strong stakeholder relationships with government, private sector and civil society peers, with a personal reputation for collaboration and partnership.*Returned to NZ for family reasons January 2017*

As a member of the TT Management Team I was responsible for overseeing Monitoring & Evaluation, Reporting, Planning, Fundraising, Donor Liaison and our work with youth and young people. In addition I advised on organisational development, professional development and HR matters.I retained a strong involvement in the private sector and business integrity work of TT, particularly concerning the Vietnam Integrity Alliance and relations with the international business community in Vietnam through individual companies and chambers of commerce.

Towards Transparency is the official national contact of Transparency International (TI) in Vietnam. Together, TI and Towards Transparency are currently implementing a three and a half year programme to strengthen anti-corruption work in Vietnam, with a view to establishing a permanent TI presence in the country. Based in Hanoi, Towards Transparency is a Vietnamese non-profit and non-governmental organisation. It plays an active role in contributing to national efforts to prevent and fight corruption and promote transparency and accountability in Vietnam.My role is to work with the Business Integrity team, focusing upon facilitating the collective action of foreign chambers of commerce in business integrity initiatives. I am also assisting with the development of customised anti-corruption tools that can be utilised by businesses and chambers of commerce in Vietnam. Additionally I will help to build capacity of local staff around soft skills, networking and make recommendations on future organisational development needs.This role is supported through Australian Volunteers International (AVI).
