Work with Business Analysts to gather, design, implement and test for Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP) enterprise software application. M&SWP is a Swing application that provides worldwide maintenance planning, scheduling, and tracking ship fleets of the US Navy using Java, SQL, PL/SQL, and Business Object reporting tool. My responsibilities include adding new functionality such as adding forms/windows, writing back end logic (both Java and SQL) for the front end to communicate with. I also perform bugs fixing and enhancing the application via redesigning of the legacy system. I recently work as part of a team that designed and added a new MAMS module to M&SWP application. This allows our client to sun-setting their legacy MAMS system (an Access application). I was one of the two that awarded with “challenger” award for going extra miles to get the job done.Assist in the requirement gathering, design, development, and delivery of eBusiness ColdFusion web application suites that utilize ColdFusion and Oracle 11g database. My responsibility include bug fixes, enhance the application per customer request, as well as perform technical support to resolve issues in a timely manner. Utilizing Apache POI, I created a utility to convert an excel file into a CFML query object and vice versa.
