Just as water is adaptable, transparent, and takes the shape of its container, I believe great UX design shares similar quality, which should be seamless and intuitive, blending into the user experience.The best app or product is only truly exceptional if it allows users to achieve their goals effectively and enjoyably. As Donald Norman said “good design is actually a lot harder to notice than poor design, in part, because good design fits our needs so well that the design is invisible”.As someone who has experienced the frustration of poorly designed apps and products, I decided to take matters into my own hands and become a UX Designer.I enjoy the feeling of digging into a problem and solving it. I've seen how even the smallest design changes can dramatically impact how users navigate, interact, and achieve their goals.This drove me to develop my skills in UX Design — to create a user-centric experiences that feels natural and satisfying.Developing my skills in all areas of / the full life cycle of UX Design, I’ve:💧Developed an online booking system: for a private healthcare company to allow the company provide better user experience for patients and reducing administration cost 💧User research: gain insights into the current market and user needs through user interviews, secondary research and competitor analysis💧Created storyboards, user flows, and wireframes on Figma: Progressing from low to high fidelity prototypes, incorporating animation for interaction design and accessibility considerations💧Methods of ideation: using the double-diamond framework to brainstorm and evaluate multiple user-flow options, resulting in the selection of an optimised design that increased booking flow efficiency💧Collaboratively develop user flows and wireframes: visualise the user journey and structure the design💧Lead: design development process before and after usability testings as well as in preparing presentationsRecently completing a hands-on Career Accelerator in UX Design, I’m now looking to combine these with my knowledge, know-how, and experience in the leisure, retail, and hospitality industries to ensure that user-friendly design is accessible to all. I strive to remain adaptable and open, constantly evolving with the needs of the product and its users, always at the forefront of creating meaningful and impactful experiences.
