Worked in a multidisciplinary team of architects and building surveyors to produce conservation management plans, condition surveys, heritage impact assessments, desk based assessments and tender responses. My work utilised desk-based research, archival material and site visits to create a holistic understanding of the site within its surrounds. Projects that I have worked on include Trowbridge Town Hall, Harris Manchester College, Merton College Chapel, Y Muni Arts Centre and the Yorkshire Museum.

Produced heritage statements, condition surveys and historic building appraisals for Pearce Bottomley Architects, Bowman Riley Architects, and independent clients. The projects that I worked on are within the private, cultural and public sector. They include Harewood House, Co-op and Barclays franchises, and private dwellings.

Undertook detailed research for the Conservation team to offer advice and guidance on development proposals for listed buildings. The research included conducting both desktop and archival research into the provenance and development of historic buildings, their occupants, and their architects. This ensured the impact and significance can be assessed in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework and local policy and guidance. This culminated in the production of heritage statements, design & access statements and conservation statements to support planning and listed planning applications.

Gained administrative skills such as data entry, stock taking, handling invoices and delivery notes, managing mail/emails and phone calls. Regularly reviewed customer feedback and made suggestions to my line management about how to improve sales performance.Successfully assisted my manager on projects such as the Online Shop, where I photographed and wrote product descriptions for current and upcoming collections. My hard work ethic meant that the website reached the deadline sooner than expected.Trained employees and oversaw their daily activities, correcting any issues when they arose.

Acted as a liaison between peers, faculty and University on matters such as teaching, welfare and equality.Arranged meetings and events for the respective parties, ensuring rooms were serviced and minutes were written.

Oversaw groups of prospective students and showed them around campus, promoting the University and the facilities it has to offer. I raised the aspirations of young people and encouraged them to consider higher education.Organised workshops and lectures to create an insight into what being an archaeology student is like, in terms of contents studied and life in the city of York.
