Phoebe DeVincenzi (she/her) is an Artist, Educator and Advocate. As someone who was exposed to the transformative and healing power of artistic expression from an early age — her foundation in social justice and the arts was deeply instilled. For the past 10 years, Phoebe has integrated this philosophy into her career in community engaged arts education. In various capacities, she has worked to strengthen relationships between staff, institutions, and communities by building stronger work cultures, more equitable organizational structures, and anti-oppressive practices in education. Through hands-on experience, Phoebe has developed a methodology that supports institutional evolution within community centered work, focusing on impact assessment, program development, relationship building, and responsive design. Concurrent to Phoebe’s career in the arts sector, she continues to work with individuals and groups who are interested in exploring body-centered approaches to healing, and believes that better understanding the way our bodies communicate with us is an integral part of social change work. As a somatic movement facilitator, Phoebe has been trained in Integrated Movement Therapy through the Samarya Center and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy through the EmbodyLab, and is passionate about helping people live more easefully in their bodies. Phoebe has created Relational.Arts to expand this work and explore how individual and collective transformation can happen when we pause, breathe, and let imagination, inquiry, and reflection guide us; using process-driven work to support individuals and communities in building healthier relationships with themselves and others.
