During my time as a Teach For America Corps Member, I created an original curriculum for an 8th-grade reading classroom that utilized the method of a culturally responsive pedagogy. I was able to successfully organize a socially distanced promotion for my 8th-grade students amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic in which multiple local donors, such as Saint Vincent De Paul, assisted me in providing over 400 meals to all of my students at their families. IIn my second year as a Corps Member, I was honored to serve on the Corps Member Board of Teach For America Phoenix. As a board member, I reviewed best teaching practices, organized events for incoming and existing corps members, and worked to bring awareness of pressing issues in the education system to the rest of the organization. As a teacher, I was responsible for creating a curriculum, recording student's progress and data, painting strong relationships, and ensuring that students were provided opportunities for success. At this time, I also completed my Master of Education through Arizona State University's Mary Lou Fulton College of Education.

CollegeFashionista is an online company that expresses individual style on college campuses. As a summer intern (also known as a Style Guru), I have the responsibility of photographing an individual with a unique style, interviewing the individual, and composing an article that conveys what the individual's style consists of. I am required to submit one article per month through the duration of my internship in a timely and professional manner that meets the given deadline.

The Marketing Communications Specialist is the go-to resource for center-wide marketing collateral, paid advertising and internal/external communications. The Specialist works collaboratively with the team to market the theater, planetarium, and exhibits and helps promote signature programs and events that attract new audiences stimulate repeat visitation and increase earned revenue.
