• Tested the utility of a RUNX1/Ly6a dual reporter mouse to follow the progression of haematopoietic stem cells to progenitor cells to better understand the process of definitive haematopoiesis. • Utilized various protocols to differentiate human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) to haematopoietic cells through the endothelial-to-hemogenic transition (EHT), and tested the viability of these cells using FACS analysis.• Maintained hiPSC in culture and performed characterization using fingerprinting, karyotyping, mycoplasma testing, and an immunofluorescence assay to identify pluripotency markers.
