• Perform daily payroll department operations• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports• Process accurate and timely year-end quarterly reporting• Prepare payroll reports to Finance department for monthly closing• Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed• Maintain employee database• Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve concerns• Support senior HR associate to calculate final wages• System used: ADP

• Process clients’ live payrolls under monthly, semi-monthly, and semi-weekly schedule• Portfolio includes up to 60 small- and medium-sized companies ranging from 3 to 30 employees. Total employees covered at 1,000+• Process payroll to employees include full-time, part-time, and 1099s• Complete quarterly unemployment tax reports and annual reports• Calculate and file sales and use tax/ meals tax electronically• Help clients to resolve government correspondences and invoices regarding payroll, unemployment report, license issues, and other payroll-related issues• Assist in providing details for individual tax and corporation tax returns as well as information as it relates to foreign bank account FinCEN Form 114• General Ledger and Account Receivable entry• File all forms properly and meet all deadlines
