* On top of responsibilities as Trade Marketing Manager Southern China, performed this role while the BD Director was on maternity leave.This position plays a key role in implementing the Advance Queensland: Connecting with Asia Strategy which is a Queensland Government funding commitment to grow tourism and make Queensland the destination of choice for Asian travellers.

- Work with all in-market stakeholders to grow visitation from Southern China in partnership with Airlines, trade distribution partners and the Queensland tourism industry.- Initiate and manage Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and industry participation in missions, roadshows and trade events for Southern China.- Develop strong relationships with trade partners and media to maximize focus on and commitment to the promotion of Queensland destinations, as well as introduce new destination attributes and products to the market place.- Maintain a prominent and positive presence in the travel and tourism industry by maintaining regular liaison with key people and key stakeholders.- Educate travel trade through seminars, sales calls and functions on methods of access and range of Queensland product.- Initiate and manage targeted trade and media familiarisation activity to support destination prioritisation and positioning strategies.- Develop, implement and monitor targeted consumer and tactical campaigns.- Coordinate trade advertising and promotional activities in Southern China.- Identify and develop marketing opportunities for the Queensland industry and the trade partners.- Provide advice, market intelligence and insights to stakeholders.- Other duties as directed by International Director, International Director.

* From pre-opening through to hotel full operation- Establish and execute the hotel marketing and social media strategies and plans- Prepare, analyze and monitor marketing- Develop and implement marketing policies, procedures and programs- Create integrated brand partnerships and execute campaigns - In collaboration with key executives, develop events strategy and execution (hotel opening, Christmas Lighting, annual appreciation party, etc) - Utilize and monitor promotions, advertising, media planning, traditional and social media tools and other relevant marketing activities to reach various target audiences in the most effective and efficient manner - Drive and manage digital marketing creation, e-commerce, media planning and production and overall execution- Oversee and support for the design, development and implementation of hotel offers, promotions and new products
