I am especially interested in textile realisation and am constantly excited by new techniques, particularly experimental costume design. I aim to create exquisite garments that encourage the viewer to look for hidden details. This is the same principle for my love of corsetry and historical undergarments. I am fascinated by the historical development of women’s shapewear and attention to detail each garment requires. I have been fortunate to have had placements including Netflix’s ‘The Crown’, Royal Northern College of Music’s operatic Die Fledermaus, and collaborating on AUB productions. Each was invaluable and has only spurred my excitement to enter the industry.
