As president and chief executive officer of CapWealth, I am dedicated to leading all strategic planning initiatives across the entire organization, as well as continuously evolving and improving the firm’s approach to attracting top talent, building a robust infrastructure and delivering an unrivaled client experience. My career in the financial industry, which has spanned more than three decades, has not only included work in the RIA sector but also in banking, private trusts and family offices. I am passionate about furthering financial education for client families, believing that clients deserve to truly and accurately understand the financial legacy that they will pass down to their children.In addition to holding the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA), I also hold certifications from both the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and the Regional Trust School at Samford University. I also served three terns as a board member of the Nashville Society of Financial Analysts. And for more than six years, I’ve penned a regular column for The Tennessean newspaper focusing on building wealth and helping families handle the unique challenges of wealth. I was honored to be named to The Financial Times’ Top 100 Women Financial Advisors in America in 2014, as well as to the Nashville Post’s In Charge list of top banking and finance professionals in both 2013 and 2014. In 2020, Forbes named me as one of America's Top Women Advisors. I was also thrilled to be a part of the 2012 class of Women of Influence awards given out annually by the Nashville Business Journal.
