Event/Social Media Adviser

• Sole responsibility for planning scheduling and monitoring all Future Plan social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube).• Also Responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating future plan events such as: Graduate job hunting event (employer and student networking), connect event (helping students find placements of interest), Bottle and folder giveaway (engaging first year students with the future plan team), Internship Fair (to raise awareness of the internships we offer), Volunteer week (advertise volunteering opportunities to students) and Internship Q&A (an opportunity for students to gain more insight to the internship programme). While also running workshops and presenting to students the opportunities that they can get involved with. This involved working with my team members to make each event a success.• Responsible for administrating the Future Plan internship programme, which involved promotion opportunities, processing student application and monitoring experience for students and employers. Acted as a first point of contact for students offering advice and guidance and referring to further specialist support. • Responsible for creating engaging marketing content for Future Plan using Photoshop, Video scribe and Canva.• Completed analysis of engagement statistics using Twitter and Facebook analytics to identify peaks and inform action for future posts.• Role involved designing marketing strategies and composing interesting content to improve student engagement with the service. • Completed NVQ Level 3 in Advice and Guidance.• Received a WOW Award, as nominated by a student which is a National scheme that recognises the excellence of customer service.Each event helped me learn something different about engaging with students and the different ways in doing this. As such I have designed 'tiles' that offer a familiarity of our Internships for student's (example attached below).
