-Employed as part of a crew of four onboard a privately owned sailing yacht sailing from New Zealand to Indonesia. -Worked as deck-stewardess during charter trip with HNW guests.- Prior to ocean crossings prepared the vessel to meet international safety standards. - Responsible for preparation of food and goods provisioning.- During crossings assisted with watches, sailing manoeuvres, navigation, engine room checks and maintenance as well as helping in the interior to maintain a pristine standard. - Accumulated over 10,000nm during my time on board.

-Worked alongside an engineer and hostess to lead a flotilla of up to 14 yachts.- During guest season was responsible for ensuring the safety of boats and up to 60 guests at all times. -Personally responsible for route planning, summarising weather reports and delivering daily navigational briefings. Gave in-depth yacht safety briefings and daily mooring assistance. -Oversaw repairs and general maintenance of the fleet throughout the season. -Assisted the engineer and hostess in their tasks in order to ensure guests had the best holiday experience possible.-Gained experience in tender driving, report writing and maintaining regular communications with shore based team.Whilst working as a flotilla skipper I dealt with many unexpected, often stressful situations. I learnt to use my strong leadership skills to motivate my crew, problem solve under pressure and remain cheerful, with a positive demeanour at all times.
