After a rewarding international career as a music theatre performer, I have committed the last 5 years to teaching performing arts in Gippsland. Using my current Bachelor studies in Psychological Science & Scoiology, I am passionate about bringing trauma-informed practices to the dance studio so we can contribute to providing safety-nets for students struggling with their mental health. I believe the arts has a fundamental role in our community and I love being part of the fabric that helps connect people with the arts. I have lived experience with depression and suicidality and am using this to advocate for stronger understandings of mental health in our society. I am currently working with RUOK? to increase awareness of the diversity of how people experience ill mental health, and how work places have a responsibility to provide mentally safe working spaces.
