As a Senior Payroll Specialist at Deloitte, I oversee the payroll operations for a bi-monthly pay and month end activities. I ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and internal policies, and I provide accurate and timely payroll reports and analysis. I also collaborate with other departments and external partners to deliver quality service and solutions to our clients. I have been working at Deloitte since Sep 2021, starting as a Payroll Specialist and getting promoted to a senior role in Dec 2022. I have more than two years of experience in payroll and financial administration, having previously worked as a Financial Administrator at Giving Time Ltd, a private nursing company. There, I managed the payroll, accounting, and billing functions, and I helped streamline use of internal software. I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and Management Services from the University of Otago, where I graduated in 2021. I have strong skills in SAP, ServiceNow, Xero, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, which I use to create and present payroll data and reports.
