A postbaccalaureate in the Cheloha Lab, National Institutes of Health, researching G protein-coupled receptor signaling with novel tools comprised of single domain antibodies and synthetic small molecules. I received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Washington. In the past three years, I have gained undergraduate and postbaccalaureate research experience in neuropharmacology, bioorganic chemistry, and molecular biology. I am passionate about the rational design of receptor-based pharmacological therapeutics and disseminating scientific knowledge through teaching opportunities. I plan to pursue a PhD in pharmacology, molecular biology, or biochemistry to deepen my expertise, drive impactful discoveries, and mentor future generations of scientists.
