My BA in the special major of Musical Theater from SJSU, and the BS in Entertainment Management from Rosen UCF that I am currently earning, have given me the necessary tools to approach every role with above and beyond excellence and to create guest happiness. As a Cast Member, I also consistently use the improvisational skills I was taught and I maintain a commitment to the theming of my area in a dedication to uphold the mission of Walt Disney's entertainment business. My past role in Merchandise, as well as my current role in Conventions and Events, gives me the ability to get to know guests from around the world and I have made magical moments for them that help invigorate their inner child. I have also been able to help guests on many different occasions including giving directions, answering questions, providing tips, suggesting necessary or desired items, suggesting dining options, and assisting with guests issues. While in Merchandise, I had many wonderful interactions with families and their children at Walt Disney World involving pixie dust ceremonies, knighting, twirling, sword fighting, dancing through bubbles, reacting to spell casting, and all of the magic of pretend that came along with making magic in Fantasyland. In my Merchandise role, I also had the opportunity to build lightsabers with people of all ages during many visits to Tatooine Traders.I am always a “teamwork makes the dreamwork” and a "see a need, fill a need" kind of employee. I firmly believe in Walt Disney's saying of “do it right.” I have happily taken on various merchandise roles at once and switched between them as necessary. I worked for Durden Construction, Inc. for 10 months and during that time I proved trustworthy as an assistant to the CEO. Additionally, I managed the files for the entire company and was in charge of accounts payable and accounts receivable for their sister business, SGT. I worked for Happily Ever Laughter as a Character Performer, providing entertainment for birthday parties, Holiday events, and private company events. As well, I have over 13 months of past experience as a Tour Guide at Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, California. I am a maker of magic and I help preserve and spread goodness in this world. All of my experience combined with my personality and my interpersonal skills will make me a great asset and a perfect fit for the role you are looking to fill.
