During my final academic year at Purdue University, I provided support for the Sustainability Education and Engaged Design (SEED) Lab underneath the directory of Dr. Huang. I helped lead the student efforts for the LAF CSI program for the Carmel Monon Boulevard/ Midtown Plaza Progress. I also pursued my personal research project focused on green stormwater.

As part of a contract role, I helped the Green Schools Team Milwaukee Public Schools and the Department of Facilities and Maintenance to establish their standards for outdoor improvements. I aided within the Purdue Arboretum (primarily over the summer) to document the planting additions of the University. Data was collected and verified within the field, then subsequently transferred digitally to the BG mapping system.

I designed concepts for interpretive/ educational signage for Purdue University’s Horticulture + Landscape Architecture Department, as well as the Purdue Arboretum. The outdoor, educational signage was developed primarily for the department’s various facilities- both indoor and outdoor. I worked closely with Purdue’s branding guidelines to develop.
