Hello! I am Phoenix. I am patient, responsible and committed to the things that I do. I am passionate about teaching and imparting wisdom and knowledge of the world surrounding us to the little ones. As a person, I am always open to enjoying and learning from new experiences, but also while taking comfort in certain details in my day-to-day life.My passion for learning and teaching allowed me the honour of being a part of MOE's Teaching Internship Programme (TIP) and being a part of the family at Greenwood Primary School. During the program, I was given many opportunities to learn from my mentors who had many years of experience under their belt. After my internship, I was blessed to be given the opportunity to continue teaching at Greenwood for a few more months as a relief teacher under MOE's Scheme for Relief Educators (SRE). Having this chance helped me widen my perspective of how a relief teacher's responsibilities differ from having a regular class.I have also taken up volunteering as a way to give back to the community during my spare time. I volunteer at the weekly Meet-the-People sessions where I help listen to the woes of the residents.
