Developed and co-designed a new fully modular flight simulator based on a real-time kernel and utilizes standard network protocols, written with ANSI C modules and a Perl Tk front-end. This project has grown out of my work on my experimental airplane, the Phoenix 2000. Some of the flight hardware was built on standard VME cards.

Designed the network infrastructure, selected and configured multiple Sun UltraSPARC servers, currently running Solaris8 for DNS, RADIUS, Apache web server and Q-mail. It was implemented as a Client / Server model with a web browser front-end and a MySQL back-end. I worked on the X-29 Fixed Base Cockpit do system integration between the cockpit and an Interdata 8/32 computer system. I also started to write in C.

Worked in the "High Bay" supporting both test equipment, and sustaining engineering on the satellite test equipment.

Configured and test various computer and configurations: 7/16, 7/32, 8/32. Helped deliver 8/32 #1 to Unix project.
