Determination.These four words describe my drive to achieve my dreams.In May 2023, I earned a bachelor of science degree in physics from Middle Tennessee State University. My minor was in Japanese language, and I spent an incredible semester abroad in Fukuoka, Japan at Seinan Gakuin University. During my days spent earning my degree, I supported myself, earned prestigious scholarships, and worked full time in positions that greatly strengthened my time management and interpersonal skills. These experiences promoted me to become an excellent individual to have on a team and a strong, effective leader.In December of 2023 I joined Vanderbilt University’s Institute for Space and Defense Electronics as an Associate Research Engineer. In this role, I am exponentially growing my skills in radiation effects research for space exploration as well as various electrical engineering concepts. My passion lies in academic research, space operations, and space exploration. I am a driven, skilled, and dynamic engineering professional with experience handling particle accelerator machines, wire bonders, x-ray irradiators, python programming, Radio SkyPipe, and setup/operation of various telescopes.I am eager to continue growing my education in a PhD program, and I always spend my days reaching for the stars.
