Heya! So my name is Nickolay and I've been working on videogame translations for... what, 6 years already? Man, sure not getting any younger here. Anyway.I'd say I have something around a few million translated words under my belt by now. Racing games, AAA-RPG games, management sims, shooters, award-winning MOBAs, adult-oriented VNs — you name a genre and I'm sure I know how to make it click for Russian gamers.Is this a good spot for some old-fashioned bragging? Sure hope it is. So my latest project was Songs of Conquest: an amazing strategy game from Lavapotion. So those guys could trust me with a full-game localization gig, you sure could trust me as well, now couldn't you?On to "why you should write me and ask me if I could help you with your project" then. There are a lot of guys and gals around the world who can translate the game to Russian, that's no secret. Some of them are even cheaper than me, I suppose. But see, I don't "translate" my game. I transcreate it. I make it better. I mean, there was this one gig that ended up with my quotes being on fan-created t-shirts and mugs.  Do you want people to be like "Oh look at that fellow, his stuff refers to that amazing game with an amazing translation"?
