I am currently a Supervisor at Amorino UK. I love being part of a great team and moving from a team member to Supervisor was a great achievement for me. This means I am a big part of running the store and making sure it runs smoothly, as well as opening and closing shifts. On the managerial side, I have to fill out paperwork documenting everything that came in and out of the shop i.e. traceability. I also use my coffee skills at this job and train other staff members how to make coffee.

As a barista and front-of-house worker at a high-end coffee shop, I am responsible for a wide variety of tasks. In this job, I use excellent customer service skills to make every customer feel comfortable. I am flexible in my role and pay high attention to detail which is needed to remember orders and produce great quality products.

Whilst working as a waitress, I was responsible for many important roles including taking on breakfast, lunch and evening shifts. This meant I had to learn various skills so I was prepared for what shift I was needed for. This included: greeting customers and taking their orders, seating customers, using the till system and taking payments, cleaning the restaurant/bar and sometimes I would work on the bar and in the kitchen. On multiple occasions, I would be looking after the restaurant by myself.

For nearly 2 years, I was in a duo called Little Whyte Lies. What started as a fun hobby, turned into a business. Being in Little Whyte Lies taught me many skills in PR, Marketing (through social media as well as in person), Songwriting and Performing experience and working with another musician. The duo decided to part ways after we decided we wanted to work on our careers individually, but this was a great experience that taught me a lot more about the business side of the music industry

Being a customer assistant at Tesco's meant that I was responsible for a variety of roles. Being face to face with the customers on a daily basis improved my customer service skills and I enjoyed connecting with them as well as doing my job. One of the main roles of my job was being a cashier, this meant I had lots of responsibilities handling money as well as all of the jobs behind the till including, Alcohol, Tobacco, Cigarettes and the lottery. Another role was helping with stock and delivery. I needed to be quick and efficient to make sure the customers had everything they needed. I worked at Tesco in Lincoln in 2020 and then when I moved to Bath for University I worked there for a year.

This job gave me great communication skills as interacting with customers was an important aspect of my job. I gained experience in using cash registers, processing payments from customers and cashing up at the end of the working day. As well as this, I had the important role of refurbishing and building the shop. This included working in the stockroom, taking in shipments and showcasing the products to increase sales and promotion.
