Starting September 2023 I am back in Helsinki after three very interesting years in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.Before that I was for 10 years back in legal services after having before that worked for almost 15 years working in-house in several industries.It was been really interesting work in professional services and experience it from the inside against the background of now having studied professional services at London Business School and the all the in-house years engineering, telecomms, housing solutions and civil works.I am still fascinated by mediation as an alternative method for resolving disputes. Litigation and arbitration have their upsides but the outcome is often unpredictable and leads usually to a win-lose or in the worst case to a lose-lose outcome, which is detrimental to the relationship of the parties.
